An independent South African comparison guide
Live Games exists to make choosing an online betting or casino brand less of a guess. We compare a small, carefully reviewed set of featured brands rather than listing everything that exists, and we explain our reasoning on every page.
What we do
We review online brands that serve South African players across three products — sportsbook, casino and bingo — and present them in a way that answers the question most readers actually have: which of these is right for how I play? That means comparing market depth, lobby quality, rand payment handling and mobile performance, and being specific about the trade-offs rather than declaring a single winner.
We deliberately keep the featured list short. A directory of two hundred brands is easy to publish and almost useless to read. Four brands, reviewed properly and re-checked regularly, gives you something you can act on.
What we are not
We are not an operator and we do not take bets, hold funds or run games. We have no ownership interest in any brand featured on this site. If you have an issue with a deposit, a payout or an account restriction, it must be raised with the operator's own support team — we cannot access or act on your account.
How the site is funded
LiveGames.co.za is free to read. When a reader signs up with a brand through a link on this site, we may earn a commission. This is disclosed on every page and it does not influence scores, ordering or the criticisms we publish. Our methodology page sets out exactly how ratings are produced, including the weighting behind each pillar.
Editorial standards
- Every featured brand is assessed against the same five pillars on the same scale.
- Every review lists genuine cons, because no brand is perfect and pretending otherwise helps nobody.
- We describe payment and verification steps in South African terms, not generic boilerplate.
- We do not publish invented statistics, fabricated bonus figures or unverifiable claims.
- When something changes on an operator's site, we update the review rather than leaving it stale.
